Blood from Stones: Reducing Telecom Costs in 2012

The Yale Club, New York, NY.

Enterprise Users joined LB3 and TC2 for a “Customer Only” conference in New York City on March 20, 2012, dedicated to helping large, experienced users who want to move beyond the “low hanging fruit” when it comes to saving money on telecom procurements.

We started the day talking about how to extract savings without sacrificing leverage; when and how to use alternatives to the “Big Two”; optimizing what you’ve already got; and saving money overseas. Then we turned to specific services – helping the bottom line by deploying SIP trunking and cloud services, and reworking wireless agreements.

As always, we emphasized how to avoid “gotchas” and hidden costs, and provided opportunities during the conference and a post-conference reception to for peer networking and to pick the brains of the negotiators who represent enterprise customers in putting these deals together.
